The scientific journal "The Annales of the Geographic Society of Uzbekistan" publishes scientific articles in the field of geographical sciences in the areas of physical geography and geoecology, nature management, economic and social geography, demography, toponymy, teaching methods of geography, history of geographical research, land hydrology, climatology, agrometeorology, geodesy and cartography. The journal also publishes reviews of novelties in geographical literature, chronicles of scientific events, personalities of scientists-geographers. The magazine dates back to 1898. It has been a regular scientific publication since 1998.
