Materials Science: Materials Review is an international Open Access journal that focuses on all areas of materials science into a single and unique reference source. This is a cross-disciplinary journal to publish original full research articles, reviews, rapid communications, and letters of important technical and scientific findings from fundamental point of view of materials science research.

This journal publishes the most significant new research of experimental and theoretical studies which focus on the synthesis, characterization, properties of materials such as metals, non-metals, metal-oxides, ceramics, glasses, polymers, composites, solids, semiconductors, and electronic materials. Topics are not limited to application of materials as optical materials, superconductors, thin-films, porous materials, nanomaterials and their structures. In addition, the reports of materials with mechanical, magnetic, thermal, biomedical and biological properties are also invited.
