Journal's description
Acta medica Lituanica is an official journal of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, Vilnius University and Institute of Oncology. It publishes data on high quality research, mostly from Lithuania, Baltic countries and Eastern Europe. The journal provides a forum for the publication of original papers, review articles, preliminary notes, short communications and case reports in various fields of medicine and biomedical sciences. Acta medica Lituanica requires disclosure of all conflicts of interests by everyone involved in the publication process – editorial board members, reviewers, and authors – to ensure unbiased pulications. All papers are published in English, with a summary in Lithuanian. Double-blinded peer review is practised in our journal. The journal is published since 1994 four issues per year in both electronic and paper versions.
