Cuadernos.info is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes research on communication and media in Latin America, preferably from comparative perspectives. It seeks to provide empirical evidence and methodological developments regarding professional practices, audiences, institutions, technologies and communicational effects in social, political, economic and cultural aspects. It covers journalism, institutional, multimedia and audiovisual communication, and advertising.
Cuadernos.info is a disciplinary and multidisciplinary publication edited semiannually (June, December) since 1984 by the School of Communication of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. It is both in print and electronic format (www.cuadernos.info), and it is published in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The journal is aimed at academics, researchers, communicators and professionals interested in communication and media in Latin America.
