Journal's description  
Modern Turkish Literature Researches is an international refereed journal which bases on academic perspective on the field of modern Turkish literature, includes original studies written by making references from other disciplines of social sciences. Our journal, which begins its broadcasting life as published by Türk Edebiyatı Vakfı, is published twice a year, in January and July.

At the beginning of the early years of the journal the owner was Servet Kabaklı who was the head of Türk Edebiyatı Vakfı, on behalf of Türk Edebiyatı Vakfı, executive editor was Beşir Ayvazoğlu and editor in chief was İlyas Dirin. At that time, Prof. Hasan Akay, Prof. Yılmaz Daşçıoğlu, Asst. Prof. Nuri Sağlam, Asst. Prof. Hayrettin Orhanoğlu, Asst. Prof. Bahtiyar Aslan took charge in editorial board.

Beginning from the tenth issue, Asst. Prof. Bahtiyar Aslan has undertaken the position of executive editor of Modern Turkish Literature Researches and Prof. Hülya Argunşah, Prof. İbrahim Şahin, Prof. Ülkü Eliuz and Asst. Prof. Cafer Gariper join the editorial board. From fourteenth issue, Serhat Kabaklı who is the head of Türk Edebiyatı Vakfı, undertakes the ownership of the journal on behalf of Türk Edebiyatı Vakfı.

Modern Turkish Literature Researches has decided to continue its broadcasting life with a new staff on digital platform since fifteenth issue, at 2016. To this decision, the journal publishes new issues on the editorship of Prof. Ramazan Korkmaz and assistant editorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tüzer and Asst. Prof. Cafer Gariper. Modern Turkish Literature Researches which transfers former fourteen issue into digital platform, continue to its broadcasting life by publishing twice a year as planned.
