Journal's description  
National periodicals of multidisciplinary character that transits in different areas, configuring a target audience made up of academics, intellectuals and militants, non-governmental organizations and other institutions. Founded by the Pro-Rector's Office for Postgraduate and Research in the ambit of the celebrations for the 20 years of creation of the Regional University of Cariri, and the fruit of the visionary ideals and dedicated effort has the purpose of promoting the academic debate in Brazil.

Created under the name of Cadernos de Cultura e Ciência, it publishes original contributions of scientists and researchers from basic and applied research.

The abbreviation for its title is Cad. Cult. Cienc. , which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and in references and bibliographic legends.
